About this programme
Space science for children who ask why.
An online astronomy course pitched at three levels, from grade 1 through to grade 12. It runs alongside live sky-watching sessions and our astro trips, so what a child learns on screen gets checked against the actual sky.
What your child will learn
- The solar system, and how we know what we know about it
- Stars, constellations and how to find them
- Using a telescope, and reading a sky chart
- Space missions past and current
- Separating astronomy from astrology — myths and facts
- Observation sessions and astro trips
